Details regarding Fashion Club®, FIDM, and ASU FIDM

ASU has committed to continuing the Fashion Club legacy beginning in fall 2023. To join Fashion Club®, a high school advisor or the club president should submit the application.

Any currently enrolled high school student, freshman to senior, or community college student is eligible to start an official ASU FIDM Fashion Club at their high school or community college.

ASU FIDM Fashion Clubs can be started at any high school or community college located anywhere around the world. Permission from the school must be obtained before starting any kind of club on school property. If you are home-schooled, you are still able to start a club in an established organization such as a community center, after-school program, church, etc. If you attend an online school, you are still able to start a club and hold virtual meetings or meet-ups when you can. As long as your ASU FIDM Fashion Club advisor is present, you can meet virtually or in person and count meeting attendance for your meetings.

You can submit your ASU FIDM Fashion Club application online for consideration at any time during the year. However, we recommend submitting the application in the fall, at the start of your school year, to be eligible for all Fashion Club opportunities and benefits. For Fashion Club advisors wanting to apply for a Fashion Club Award for their club, you will want to submit your application early in the fall to meet the Fashion Club Award deadline and meet requirements for the award by Dec. 6, 2024. If you have a high school senior in your club as a president or member who would like to be eligible to receive the Fashion Club Scholarship to attend ASU, you will want to ensure your Fashion Club application is submitted by Jan. 15, 2025.

As long as you have permission from your school, you can start having meetings before the application process is complete.

Yes, we do allow clubs to have one president and one co-president. Please be sure to include the information about each on the application form.
